Fiðlufjör’s Intermediate division is for violin students who have completed a basic violin exam “Grunnpróf” and are at an intermediate level.

All violin students are welcome, including traditional violin students,

Suzuki students, and other teaching methods.

For students who are in the Suzuki program, this department is for students who are in book 5, book 6, book 7, and book 8.

 

During the course, Intermediate division students will receive :

• Group class and interaction

• Music workshop in folk songs

• Music workshop in Brazilian music

• Extra curricular class

• Folk dancing class

• Playing at the festival's closing concert

The Intermediate division begins:
at 9:00 AM on June 5th at the Hveragerði Elementary School building.

 

Every day there will be times from around 9:00/10:00 - 15:00/16:00.
Some days will be longer or shorter,

but a more detailed schedule will come later in May 2026.
