Fiðlufjör's Advanced division is for violin students who have completed an intermediate violin exam or equivalent.

All violin students are welcome, including traditional violin students, Suzuki students, and other teaching methods.

 

During the course, the students will receive :

• Chamber classes

• Music workshop in folk songs

• Music workshop in Brazilian music

• Extra curricular class

• Folk dancing class

• Playing with a chamber group at the final concert

• Playing at the festival's closing concert

The Advanced division begins:
at 9:00 AM on June 5th at the premises of the Elementary School in Hveragerði.

 

Every day there will be times from around 9:00/10:00 - 15:00/16:00.
Some days will be longer or shorter,

but a more detailed schedule will come later in May 2026.
