The Fiðlufjörður Beginners division is for violin students who are in undergraduate studies in violin playing. All violin students are welcome, both traditional violin students, Suzuki students and other teaching methods.

For students who are in the Suzuki program, this department is for students who are in book 1, book 2, book 3, and book 4.

 

During the course, students of Beginners division will receive :

• Group class and interaction

• Music workshop in folk songs

• Music workshop in Brazilian music

• Extra curricular class

• Folk dancing class

• Playing at the festival's final concert

The Beginners division begins:
at 9:00 AM on June 5th at the premises of the Elementary School in Hveragerði.

 

Every day there will be times from around 9:00/10:00 - 15:00/16:00.
Some days will be longer or shorter,

but a more detailed schedule will come later in May 2026.
