Fiðlufjör's twinkle division class is for violin students who have learned the first variations from Suzuki book 1, on open strings or with fingers, and the first four pieces in the book. Students do not have to be currently enrolled in a Suzuki program to qualify for the class, but it is best to discuss with your private teacher which department would be the best fit for the student. 

The twinkle division is usually divided into two groups, one that has learned open strings and another one that knows the next four songs with their fingers.

During the course, the students of the Twinkle division will get: 

• Group classes

• Private lesson

• Accompaniment time (for those who plan to play at lunchtime concerts)

• Music workshop class

• Teamwork activities

The Twinkle division will start:
9:00 AM on June 8th at the music school in Hvolsvöllur
Each day will have classes from ca. 9:00/10:00 AM - 13:00/14:00 PM. Some days will be longer but the schedule will be clear by the middle of May 2023.

Students have the choice to play at Fiðlufjör's lunchtime concert in consultation with their teacher. 

The Twinkle division will also perform at the final concert of Fiðlufjörður, which will be held in the Culture Hall at Hella on June 11.
